The Hedgehog Program is a sole proprietorship business doing research and providing education about hedgehogs and tenrecs. We write educational posts, create online courses, do research projects, collborate in nature education projects and ecological developement projects and we have a shop where we sell books and courses. 

The Hedgehog Program does not have the facilities nor the needed licenses to do animal experiments. Our researches are non-invasive, meaning we make sure our researches are developed in such ways that they do not harm, disturb our stress out the animals. Of course we do need to pick them up occasionally to do measurements, but we limit those tasks so that the animals can roam freely afterwards without medical help, in their own habitat.
